Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience with utility-scale renewable energy project origination, or vendor sales to renewable energy developers, retail electric providers, electric utilities, or data center companies.
- Proven success with targeted account selling and solution selling to renewable energy developers, retail electric providers, electric utilities, or data center companies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively communicate complex technical matters verbally and in writing.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills that deliver win-win outcomes.
- Ability to analyze data and make insights for customers that challenge the way they think about energy markets and financial infrastructure.
- Critical thinker with good judgment skills who doesn’t simply accept a “business as usual” approach and has a willingness to take risks.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with ability to work on initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively and follow through in a consistent manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work, contribute, and adapt as an effective team player in a fast paced startup environment.
- Positive professional demeanor with a collaborative low ego mindset.
Knowledge of the changing power market landscape and the impact of renewables.
- Tech savvy with experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Contacts), AirTable, Box and seeks to automate work.
- Willingness to travel ~50% or as required to meet with customers and attend energy conferences and trade shows.
